A heart barely beating,so empty and lost Escape seems improbable,no reason to hope So eager to leave it all,no matter the cost No longer capable of trying to cope
Time is running out,the limit isn't far An end is coming either good or bad Such a broken soul with a permanent scar Life's not much for someone so sad
The story goes on,yet to be told Still waiting for the rest to unfold

How can his simple grin make me forget where I'm at?
This happened so suddenly,I almost didn't realize.
One day I just knew when I looked in his eyes.
In the not so distant past,we weren't even friends.
In such a short time,my heart began to bend.
They say I don't love him,but I'm sure they aren't right.
After all thoughts of him keep me up every night.
Right now I can't think,my mind's drifting away.
It finds its way to my angel every single day.
